Juventus wants Odriozola from Real Madrid

After some explanatory talks with Alvaro Odriozola’s agents, now Juventus are ready to sit down and talk about the details of an agreement with Real Madrid, writes the media in Spain

The Spanish right-back has not made a single appearance for Los Blancos this season under Carlo Ancelotti, which is disappointing considering his impressive performances on loan at Fiorentina last season. In Florence, Odriozola scored once and made an assist, playing well in coach Vinzenzo Italiano’s system.

As Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com reports, Juventus are already with Odriozola’s agents to sign him in January. They will sit down with Real Madrid to discuss this for a possible deal, and they already have a plan in mind.

The Whites want to sign the 26-year-old on a loan deal with an option to buy, while the Spanish giants prefer to sell him outright. Odriozola’s contract with Real Madrid expires in June 2024, so January would be the perfect time for them to sell him.

Odriozola joined Real Madrid from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2018 for 32 million euros.
