Dembélé doubtful for Bayern Munich clash

PSG are worried ahead of the week’s main Champions League match. The winner of the prestigious “Ballon d’Or” award, Ousmane Dembélé, could miss the fourth round of the group stage, where Paris Saint-Germain face Bayern Munich.

According to reports in the French newspaper L’Équipe, the 28-year-old has thigh problems and is not yet fully fit. Dembélé was injured in September and has only recently returned to training with the team.

The French striker made his comeback two weeks ago, in the convincing 7-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, but so far has not managed to play the full 90 minutes. For this reason, it is unlikely that he will start from the first minute in the confrontation against the Catalans.

Coach Luis Enrique is expected to be careful with the player, leaving him on the bench to avoid a possible return of the injury.
