Manchester United increase interest in Vinicius Junior, a giant offer is expected
Manchester United are rekindling their interest in Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, with reports in Spain suggesting the Red Devils are ready to make a big move.
Despite spending over €200m this summer to rebuild their attack with Sesko, Cunha and Mbeumo, the English club are reportedly preparing a €200m bid for Vinicius, according to Fichaje.
The Brazilian’s future at Madrid is uncertain after a lacklustre season, in which he has scored just five goals in 16 appearances. Under Xabi Alonso, his role has been significantly reduced, especially after the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, who has become the team’s new leader.
There have also been reports of tension between Vinicius and Alonso, with the El Clasico incident adding to speculation that he could leave. Real Madrid are said to be open to offers, especially given the off-field problems and the fact that the player’s contract expires in 2027.
A move to United would give the Brazilian a fresh start and the leading role he seeks, while for Amorini he would bring creativity and experience.
However, sources close to the English club say that United are more focused on midfield for 2026, and such a large investment in attack seems unlikely. INEOS’ strategy remains the same: find young talent, not pay record sums for established stars.
For now, interest in Vinicius Junior remains an ambitious scenario – but not completely ruled out.
