Neymar has an ‘advice’ for Vinicius

Real Madrid are in a difficult situation. Their star player, Vinicius Junior, is out of contract in 2027 and the club are working to renew it.

The 25-year-old has yet to sign a new deal, with speculation growing that he could leave at the end of the season if things don’t work out.

Now, Neymar has stepped in with some unexpected advice for Vinicius Junior, as questions about the Real Madrid forward’s future grow louder.

According to OK Diario, Neymar has told his compatriot to stay at Real Madrid or risk repeating the mistake that cost him so much.

In 2017, Neymar left Barcelona for PSG in a stunning €222 million deal, aiming for a fresh start and a Ballon d’Or.

But persistent injuries have slowed his progress. That move didn’t elevate him, but rather slowly distanced him from the essence of football.

Neymar has told Vinicius that Real Madrid offers things he can’t find anywhere else: sustainable growth, strong roots and a world stage where he can shine.

While moving to another club simply for more money may not bring real victories, nor does it strengthen his name.

On the contrary, staying put – despite the fierce competition within the squad – seems the smartest way to leave a lasting impact.

The message comes at a time when Vinicius needs it most. He’s a key player for Real Madrid, but he’s still in the middle of contract negotiations.

Neymar knows what happened to him back then, so taking such a risk now could derail a career that’s already on a global trajectory
