Palladino, the new coach of Atalanta
Raffaele Palladino has arrived at Atalanta’s training ground to sign a contract until June 2027 with La Dea.
Palladino is set to be named as Atalanta’s new coach after the former striker arrived at Zingonia.
As previously reported by Football Italia, Palladino will sign a contract until June 2027.
Atalanta confirmed the departure of Ivan Juric on Monday and are now set to appoint the former Fiorentina tactician.
Palladino had been linked last week with a return to Fiorentina, following the sacking of Stefano Pioli, and even with a possibility of Juventus before Luciano Spalletti was appointed.
However, as previously reported, the 41-year-old has never been a real candidate for the Tuscans or the Bianconeri and is now ready to start a new chapter in his career.
Palladino will find a team that has the right characteristics for his style of play, and the club hopes that the new coach will strengthen the new summer signings, who failed to make a mark under Juric.
Palladino’s debut with Atalanta will be in the away match against Napoli after the international break.
