Real Madrid make a decision on the future of Vinicius

Real Madrid have made their stance on Vinicius Junior’s future clear.

According to Defensa Central, despite the uncertainties surrounding his contract renewal, the Madrid club have no intention of selling the Brazilian star.

The report claims that president Florentino Perez spoke openly about the matter during a board meeting, stressing that “Real Madrid is not considering selling Vinicius,” despite the media buzz and speculation linking him with a possible move to Saudi Arabia.

Instead of selling, the club’s plan is to reopen renewal talks once the current season ends. Sources within the club insist that rumors of an imminent departure are “completely unfounded.”

Vinicius, who has a contract with Real Madrid until 2027, has never hidden his love for the club and his desire to continue at the Santiago Bernabeu, fighting for the biggest trophies in European football.

At just 25 years old, he is in the prime of his career, and although there is still no agreement on a renewal due to financial differences, there is optimism within the club that a deal will be reached soon.

For the time being, Vinicius and his representatives remain calm, aware that his current contract fully protects him. They also know that time is strengthening their negotiating position.

However, Real Madrid want this matter to be concluded as soon as possible, to avoid continued speculation and to prevent a dangerous scenario where, in the summer of 2026, the player could approach the end of his contract with the possibility of leaving as a free agent just a year later.
