The Real Madrid star could be out until the end of December
La Liga leaders Real Madrid could be without the services of summer signing Franco Mastantuono for at least the next month.
This comes as the Argentine continues to struggle to recover from injury.
Mastantuono was sidelined for a deal earlier this month after becoming the latest star to be diagnosed with pubalgia.
The 18-year-old was forced to miss Real Madrid’s final two games before the international break.
And if recent words coming out of Valdebebas this week are any indication, then Mastantuono is unlikely to be available for coach Xabi Alonso any time soon.
According to a report in The Athletic, he will not be forced to undergo surgery, however: “He could be ready to play before the end of December”, a period of absence that would amount to around two months in total.
